James Simpson

James recruits in the IT support and infrastructure contract market. He was our third employee, starting work when the business operated from Peter Hart’s garage.

Having come from a background with no direct recruitment experience, he is now a team mentor responsible for developing the skills of his fellow consultants. He finds the extra responsibility both stimulating and rewarding, as his coaching role involves helping his colleagues to build their markets and develop new customer partnerships.

“No matter how big or small a company is they will need to support the computers they have. This means every client will potentially need my services. It is a quick, fast moving market – I really enjoy the constant change and finding new opportunities.”

Sport plays a big part in James life – both in and outside of work. He plays football for a local Reading club, spends time at the gym and he’s a passionate Everton fan. James is also a regular in the Austin Fraser charity bike ride team, and has completed two gruelling off-road rides.
