Software Development Recruitment

The economic climate has put pressure on software development budgets across the board. Businesses are trying to achieve more for less – they want the best people for less money. Yet many organisations are trying to catch up with the projects that they put on hold last year, which is again increasing demand for the most talented developers.

Many employers appreciate having a recruitment service that is truly consultative. They want to work with our consultants because they understand the tensions between supply and demand, the state of the enterprise market and open-source market, and can advise them on key issues like contract rates and availability of skills. We make an effort to stay close to the developer community. It's not unusual to find us hanging out at the Django meetups in London, buying the pizza and beer and taking time to network.

Key skills for software developers:

  • Application development
  • Web services
