Moustaches for Movember

It's that time of year again, when seemingly normal men enter the world of fine moustachery.

Movember is an annual event that raises funding and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer; in 2010 over 112,000 men raised £11.7 million through sponsorship. The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research use the money raised to support a range of initiatives including raising awareness and educating people about the diseases, supporting survivors and researching treatments.

Last year we raised over £700 during Movember. And this year, our team, led by Captain Jon Gould, are hoping to smash this target.

"Movember is great because it gets people talking openly about cancers that affect men, and does so in a humorous and engaging way," says Jon. "I'd love to be able to choose from a number of tash styles but think it'll have to be the coffee stain again!"

If you want to join Jon's team in their quest, or donate to our boys, please visit the Austin Fraser Mospace page.
