About the Position
We are seeking an experienced machine learning engineer/scientist with high standards to help our team scale and expand into new initiatives. As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for helping with a variety of tasks such as data ETLs, modeling, model serving and test reporting.
Qualifications:
- Expert experience with Machine Learning concepts and tasks – Deep intuitive understanding of statistics, extensive experience using various methodologies building models, specifically NLP's
- Experience with Apache Spark for data pipelining
- Deep understanding of SQL
- Experience utilizing Scala for performance purposes
- Relevant bachelor’s or higher degree (Must of graduated from a top 50 University)
- 5 years of data science, machine learning, or data engineering work experience
- 10 more years of computer programming work experience
- Must reside in the greater Austin metro area or be willing to relocate to the Austin area (Relocation Reimbursement will be offered)
