Overview

Senior Data Analyst 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing FinTech client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FinTech, with extensive experience using PowerBI & Tableau to turn complex data into actionable insights. This role is critical to our business operations and decision-making processes, providing valuable analysis that drives strategic initiatives.

Location: London based - 3-4 days working onsite

Salary: £60,000 -  £70,000 plus bonus 

Role overview:

  • Collect, process, and analyse large datasets to generate actionable insights.

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and PowerBI.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.

  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Skills / Qualifications required: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred but not essential. 

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the FinTech industry is preferred. 

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Tableau with a strong portfolio of interactive dashboards and reports.

  • A background working with Salesforce and AWS would be highly beneficial for this position. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with SQL and other data querying languages.

  • Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
