Overview

DevOps Support Engineer - £50-60K - Berskhire/Onsite 

Austin Fraser is currently working with an innovative healthcare organisation who are transforming the industry by providing innovative software solutions that improve patient care. 

They are now looking for an experienced DevOps Support Engineer to join their team and help them build and maintain the infrastructure that powers their cutting-edge healthcare software products.

Your primary focus will be on enhancing system performance through efficient scaling, configuration, and tuning, while overseeing smooth upgrades. As part of a collaborative support team, you’ll quickly diagnose and resolve incidents and prioritise system uptime. 
 

Location: Berkshire/Onsite

Salary: up to £60,000 + competitive benefits 


Requirements: 
  • Hands-on Experience with Kubernetes, Linux and Bash scripting. 
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, or self-service infrastructure frameworks like OpenStack.
  • Solid experience in managing large-scale MySQL databases.
  • Strong focus on securing infrastructure, managing user privileges, and implementing role-based access controls.
  • Proven track record in designing and testing backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical applications.
  • Extensive experience with DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, GitOps, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Troubleshooting experience. 
  • Incident management expereince.
